Meet Dave!
Dave has served as Chairman of the David’s House Board of Directors with his wife, Shayne, since 1991.
Born in Roanoke, VA, Dave lived the majority of his childhood and adolescent years in Detroit and Holland, MI. After graduating from Hope College in 1968, he worked for a vending machine company for six years. He thereafter joined Sales Consultants of Grand Rapids, becoming a partner in 1978 and owner in 1988. Dave retired in 2015 after 41 years of working with Sales Consultants. He continues to provide consulting services to his two sons who now run the business.
Dave met Shayne after college through a young singles group at Calvary Church. They’ve been married for 37 years and have four children. When Dave isn’t giving his fellow board members a hard time, he enjoys playing and watching basketball, boating, hunting and spending time with his eight grandchildren.
