Staff Spotlight: Mark

Meet Mark!

Mark began working at David’s House in 2009 part-time as a Care Giver at House Two while completing his undergrad at Grand Valley. After graduating, he began working full time as a Team Captain.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys the company of his family, walking his dog Torin, running and cycling. He’s also an avid fan of Detroit sports and is sure to attend a Red Wings, Tigers and Lions game every year.

What Mark enjoys most about his job are the relationships created with the residents. Being able to work with them and share in their joy is a truly special and unique aspect of working at David’s House that he cherishes. When first starting at David’s House, Mark knew he would have the opportunity to impact residents’ daily lives in providing care for them. What he did not know at the time was the profound impact the residents and ministry would have on his own life.

You’re appreciated, Mark. Thanks for serving so well!
