Earlier this week, I was reminded of a powerful passage from Exodus 16 during a devotion at my church. It tells the story of God providing manna for the Israelites, fresh every morning and exactly what they needed for each day. They were asked not to store it up but to trust that God would provide again tomorrow. And He did, faithfully, for forty years.
As we begin a new year at David’s House Ministries, that story feels especially meaningful.
Like the Israelites, we face unknowns:
• Michigan’s new funding structure remains unresolved
• Federal Medicaid reductions are on the horizon
• We are working to raise just over $400,000 by March 31 to finish the fiscal year strong
It would be easy to worry.
But for more than 38 years, God has provided for David’s House through people just like you. Again and again, the right support arrives at the right time, just enough manna for the day.
Thank you for being part of that provision. Your generosity, encouragement, and prayers sustain this ministry in ways that truly matter.
Tasha Layton captures this gratitude beautifully in her song “Thank You Isn’t Enough”:
Thank You for the joy that I'm feelin'
Thank You for a new kind of freedom
Oh, Lord!
For all You've done, got a million reasons
Thank You isn't enough...
We’re thrilled that Tasha will join us on March 16 at our annual Spring Gala. We hope you’ll come celebrate with us as we step into another year of trusting in God’s faithfulness and honoring the good He continues to do here every day.
With gratitude and faith,
