I’m excited to share that David’s House Ministries has entered into a new collaborative agreement with Holland Home and Edison Christian Life Services, two highly respected, faith-based nonprofit providers here in West Michigan.
This partnership reflects thoughtful planning and shared values. In the rare times when a resident’s complex medical needs require licensed nursing care beyond what David’s House is licensed to provide, this agreement ensures we have trusted, like‑minded partners where we can begin the conversation and explore options, always depending on clinical appropriateness, availability, and the individual needs of each resident.
David’s House is, and will always remain, home for the people we serve. This partnership does not change our commitment to supporting residents for as long as we are able within our licensed scope of care. Instead, it provides added reassurance. Confidence that if circumstances ever change, transitions will be handled carefully, collaboratively, and only when truly necessary.
What excites me most is what this represents: three mission‑driven organizations coming together to grow the circle of support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It’s a powerful example of how collaboration, shared faith, and good stewardship can strengthen care, not just for today, but for the future.
I see this partnership as a living expression of Ecclesiastes 4:12—a cord of three strands, strengthened through shared faith and purpose, expanding the circle of care so individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are supported with dignity through every season of life.
