On Saturday, our community came together to celebrate a month of activity and fundraising. The day was filled with fun, including yard games, a walk through the neighborhood, and visits from local first responders and our friends at JOY 99. The crowd favorite was watching staff members get a pie in the face! We also took time to celebrate the incredible month long efforts of our community. The Golden Shoe Trophy was awarded to Pine Tree Lodge for logging the most activity, a staff step challenge winner was announced, and we recognized our top fundraisers with special prizes.
Whether you walked, rode, ran, donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word, your support has made a lasting impact. These funds will go directly toward helping us continue our mission and serve our community in meaningful ways.
This year's event was especially meaningful as it marked the 40th Walk/Ride/Run in David's House history. This milestone kicks off a year of celebrating God's faithfulness and the incredible community that has supported our mission over the past four decades.
