Tony has been part of the David’s House community for almost five years. He values the opportunity to live in his own space and enjoy independence, knowing that some of his friends do not have the same option. One of the ways Tony appreciates that independence is by using the GO!Bus transportation service to get to his appointments.
His room is a reflection of his personality. Lined with race cars, bobblehead drivers, and photos of friends and family, it’s clear that racing holds a special place in Tony’s heart. His favorite driver is Chase Elliott, and when asked which famous person he would choose to sit down with, Tony immediately replied with Richard Petty. He shared a special memory from 2008 when he met the NASCAR legend at Victory Junction, a NASCAR-themed camp.
Tony’s favorite activities include visiting with his best friend, running errands with his mom, and watching races on the weekends at his parents’ house. At David’s House, he enjoys attending Friendship socials, concerts, and spending time outdoors when the weather is not too hot.
Staff describe Tony as independent, friendly, and always full of positivity. He reminds us all of the joy that comes from living life with gratitude and connection.
Tony’s story is one of creating a meaningful life surrounded by the people and passions that matter most. We’re proud to have him as part of our community.
