Building Impact Through Partnership
Strong partnerships often begin with people who care enough to get involved. The relationship between Feyen Zylstra (FZ) and David’s House grew that way, shaped by shared values and personal connection.
For Nate, a leader at Feyen Zylstra, and his wife Stacey, their involvement with David’s House began through firsthand experience and the meaningful impact the ministry had on their family. What started as a personal relationship gradually grew as others at Feyen Zylstra saw the work David’s House was doing and wanted to be part of it. As Nate shared, like most relationships, it started small and has continued to grow. Today, that connection extends beyond the couple to include the company and many of its employees.
This growth reflects Feyen Zylstra’s purpose as a business. FZ is focused on something greater than profits, aiming to have a positive impact on the lives of people. That purpose is lived out through caring for employees, serving customers, and investing in local communities. Supporting David’s House aligns naturally with these priorities.
“The work that David’s House does for residents and their families is truly life changing,” Nate said. “We want to do our part, both financially and with our time, to help ensure that work can continue.”
Over time, consistent support became a formal multi-year Cornerstone Impact Partnership. This commitment allows both organizations to plan intentionally and create greater impact together.
Relationships and partnerships are the cornerstone of our work at David’s House. From churches to local businesses, building long-term relationships is essential to our success. Having FZ come alongside David’s House, not only as an electrical contractor, but also as a volunteer, financial supporter, and mission partner, is truly incredible.
Together, Feyen Zylstra and David’s House show how lasting impact is possible when relationships lead and purpose guides action.
