This month has been filled with lively Life Enriching Activities and Programs (LEAP). For those who do not know, LEAP helps provide meaningful activities and opportunities for residents to engage with each other and with the community.
In October, residents visited Fredrik Meijer Garden Sculpture Park almost every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Here they were able to enjoy the Fall air, flowers, art, and festive decorations. Many trips to the gardens also included apple cider and donuts.
Volunteering took place at Kid’s Food Basket, Beer City Dog Biscuits, Roots Brew Shop, and the Fulton Street Farmers Market.
On-campus, staff members, put on a Harvest Party/Chili Cook-Off, Fall scavenger hunt, pumpkin crafting, and much more! Residents are also looking forward to the MSU vs. UofM game on October 30.
We are beyond blessed to have LEAPs and have so much to look forward to in the coming months!
