Chris joined the David’s House team about 6 weeks ago as a Recreation Therapist in the LEAP Program.
Chris’s husband, Brian, has worked with the administrative staff at DHM and has always spoken highly of the quality of care and love that he has witnessed here, so Chris came because she is excited to be part of such an amazing place.
“As a Recreation Therapist it is always my passion and goal to positively impact people’s lives while helping them reach their highest potential and meeting their goals. DHM is an organization that promotes the best quality of care and understands the importance of Christian principles which makes DHM a perfect fit for me.”
Chris loves being a Recreation Therapist because it gives her the opportunity to get to know all the residents and work closely with them to creatively address their abilities and challenges in their lives.
When Chris is not at work she loves to spend time with family and friends. She has been married to her husband, Brian, for thirty years and they have three grown children and a new granddaughter. When Chris is not being Grandma she loves to walk, play tennis, and of course shop. Christmas is her favorite time of year!
