Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will repay him for his deed.

-Proverbs 19:17 ESV

David’s House Ministries receives funding from a number of sources to meet the financial needs of our ministry.  The funding we receive is dispersed to a variety of areas within the ministry.  These needs are broadly categorized as:

Capital Expenses

This would include such things as buildings, furnishings, equipment and vehicles.  All of the funding to care for these needs comes in the form of financial gifts or gifts of labor and materials from individuals, corporations, foundations and churches

Ministry Expenses

Included in this category would be administrative costs, promotional literature, fundraising and development costs along with maintenance and upkeep of the buildings, grounds, vehicles and equipment.

Room & Board

This expense is met in most cases through an individual consumer’s SSI or Social Security payment.

Personal Care

This would include whatever assistance is required by each individual consumer stipulated by their assessment and person centered plan to provide for such things as assistance with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and medical needs.  The funding for personal care is covered by Medicaid unless a consumer and/or their parent/guardian does not accept Medicaid funding and opts to privately pay for personal care.
