Meet Dean!
Dean worked in the transportation industry with Roadway Express for 41 years leading up to his retirement. He was first exposed to David’s House through one of his daughters, Kristen, who worked as a member of the direct care staff. When a few of the House 1 gentlemen needed a ride to Calvary Church one Sunday, Dean offered to drive. As his involvement with the ministry grew, so did his heart for people with special needs.
Dean now spends his weekends cheerfully serving the residents of David’s House. He has seven children, five of whom have worked at David’s House (you might recognize his daughter, Liz). When Dean isn’t hanging out with residents, he enjoys spending time with his family and serving the community of Grandville Baptist Church. He resides in Grandville with his wife, Sharon.
